Only using these silicone ones now. Much easier than the hard plastic ones where you have to use thermal paste and watch out for them cracking under heat and grounding out the transistors. These are simple and quick and last way longer without all the mess.

Like others have said you don’t need the thermal paste. But I also like about this is It’s really high quality it’s not so thin that it just falls apart which is exactly what you need for your transistors and Chassis. Buy with confidence as you know arcade Parts and Repair only stocks the best.

Came back for more and I’m glad I did. Working on a WG 6100 I decided just to replace all the bottle caps since they were all out of whack. Think I’ll be back in buy another pack just to have on hand. Plus Peter gives you the best service on the planet! Even if you think you’re not going to use them I bet you you will when you take off the old transistor even to clean it and test it the insulators and the thermal paste usually fall apart after decades of use. So do yourself a favor and pick up a pack or two
