MPSW42 is a One Watt High Voltage Transistor. NPN Silicon transistor TO-92 Package, lead layout of EBC. Collector−Emitter Voltage VCEO 300 Vdc, Collector−Base Voltage VCBO 300 Vdc, Emitter−Base Voltage VEBO 6.0 Vdc, Collector Current − Continuous IC 500 mAdc. This is a slightly higher rated substitute for MPSU10, MPS-U10 and the 2N6557, 2N6558 Horizontal Drive Transistor at location Q905 used on the wells gardner K6100 color vector monitor and the C, B, E PCB layout is identical to the 2N6557 so you don’t have to modify the legs of the MPSW42, but you MUST use a TO-92 Heat Sink on this to extend it’s life which we stock.
