Description

MSM6295 is a OKI 4-channel ADPCM voice synthesis LSI which is fabricated using Oki’s low power CMOS silicon gate technology, 44-pin Flat Package.  The MSM6295 can access an external ROM, where speech or sound effect data is stored.  The maximum size ROM is 256K bytes.  The MSM6295 is also referred to as OKI6295 or M6295 which are the same.  This chip is found on hundreds of game from manufacturers like Capcom, Data East and many others and this is only a partial list of games the chip is used on:  Heavy Barrel (ARC), Bad Dudes vs. Dragonninja (ARC), Ghouls’n Ghosts (ARC), Robocop (ARC), Shadow Warriors (ARC), Block Out (ARC), Dynamite Duke (ARC), Dynasty Wars (ARC), Final Fight (ARC), Klax (ARC), Midnight Resistance (ARC), Pang (ARC), S.T.U.N.
