Description

2N3440 NPN Silicon Transistor, 1A 300V,  TO-39 Package.  Bally E-00585-0041, Midway 104E-00003-0002, Stern 25A-2-3440 at Q22 & Q23, Bally AS-2518-22 and AS-2518-16 solenoid driver PCB uses two of them at Q22 and Q23.  Used in many Pinball / Arcade applications.  This 2N3440 is higher rated and can replace any of the following A1M, 48S134919, SS1242, NTE154, 2N3500, A5F, 2N3498, 2N3499 and 2N3501.
