Nice to have the smaller modern version on the board. You have to do a little modding to fit it on the k4600 chassis but it’s an easy fix.

    Works prefect. Thanks.

Worked great along with the B+ pot (P1028) on my k4600. Make sure you order that pot as well since the original is glued in place on the k4600. You may have to bend the pins slightly open to fit it in the + and – holes on the PCB. I also put some hot glue around it to reinforce it. No issues.

What do you say it’s more compact an all-around way better for my K 4600. I don’t know if this will work for other boards but I love the fact that it’s smaller and more efficient.

Used one of these on a 13″ Sanwa PM1718; the pins needed a little finagling due to the holes on the PCB being a bit too wide, but it installed perfectly and works great!

As others said, took a little finessing to get in but easy enough and it looks great afterward. Solid as always.

I would not have figured out the mounting of this without the video. It was really helpful. The hardest part was removing the old cap. My desoldering tool was not large enough to go over the old cap posts, so I cut them first then it worked fine.

Great quality as always! Thank you!!

  9. David Jones (verified owner)

Installed on my K4600, it’s a snug fit after pinching legs with needle nose pliers but it works great. My monitor will be good for the next few decades!

Superb replacement for the factory cap. Be sure to watch the video on the site/YouTube if you haven’t done it before. Mounts in the factory location (just slightly different)
